FAQ
Is it possible to purchase panels on site?
Yes. ATELIER MATERIS's most popular decors are in stock and can be purchased immediately, subject to availability. If it is important to you to complete your project quickly, it is recommended that you contact us in advance to check the availability of the desired decor.
When is the best time to order panels?
If you want a specific texture, color, or collection that is not in stock, the best solution is to place an order in advance. ATELIER MATERIS offers practically all types of decor and colors that are relevant in modern interiors. This allows you to not be limited to the local selection and to choose exactly the material that suits your project.
How long does it take to deliver an order?
The standard delivery time for an order is approximately 2 months. This period includes production, international transportation, and delivery to Georgia. In special cases, taking into account the season and logistical conditions, the period may change slightly, of which the customer will be informed in advance.
When is the optimal time to place an order?
The best time to order panels is when the renovation is still in the planning stage. In this case, while electrical, plumbing, flooring, or other construction work is underway, your order is being prepared in parallel. About two months later, when the walls are ready, the panels will be available for direct installation. Such planning significantly reduces the waiting period and makes the organization of the entire renovation process more efficient.
What are the advantages of using decorative panels during renovation?
Decorative panels significantly simplify the process of finishing the interior. In the case of traditional cladding, wall preparation often requires several stages - leveling the surface, filling with filler, puttying, priming, painting and waiting for drying between each stage. When using panels, this process is significantly reduced. After installation, the wall immediately takes on a finished look, which saves time, reduces construction waste and eliminates long, dusty and wet work.
What are decorative panels mounted on?
The installation method depends on the condition of the wall and the specifics of the project. The panels can be installed on: ● Leveled and prepared wall ● Plasterboard (gypsum board) structure ● MDF or other suitable supporting surface The correct installation method is determined by the condition of the space and the type of product used. If necessary, our team will provide you with technical advice.
Is it possible to install the panels without dismantling the existing wall?
In most cases — yes. If the existing wall is solid, dry, and structurally sound, decorative panels can be installed without completely dismantling it. This reduces both the amount of work and the duration of the repair.
What happens if the desired decor is not in stock?
If a specific decor is not available on site, it can be ordered from the manufacturer's catalog. We will help you select the appropriate decor, provide you with samples, and inform you of all important stages during the ordering process.
Is it possible to see a sample before ordering?
Yes. It is recommended to actually see the decor before making a final decision. The texture, color tone, and surface effect are better visible on a sample than on a screen or in a printed catalog.
Can you help me calculate the quantity needed?
Yes. If you provide us with the wall dimensions, project plan or drawing, our team will help you determine the required quantity and will try to minimize material waste.
Do we offer installation services?
If necessary, we can advise you on the installation process and recommend experienced specialists to ensure that the panels are installed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
Is it possible to finish one room in just a few days?
Yes. Installation of decorative panels on a properly prepared surface is significantly faster than the traditional repair process. That is why they are especially popular in projects where time is a key factor — in private apartments, offices, hotels, and commercial spaces.
